You provide leadership in the effective and efficient integration of learning technologies and data science capabilities for learning systems of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). You establish policies to govern and manage the use of content and learning data across the SAF learning systems. You also research, evaluate, develop and implement suitable digital technologies and enablers to enhance the SAF learning. Your challenge lies in understanding MINDEF/SAF's policies, staying current with industry standards and best practices, and forging partnerships to advance the development of SAF learning systems.

You must a tertiary qualification in Technology fields, with at least 6 years' of working experience in project management/digital projects. Having strong interest in emerging technologies is advantageous.

You design and develop curriculum for the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS)-level training courses in accordance to DIS’ Training Roadmap.  You also review existing curriculum to ensure content remains updated and aligned with operational requirements. On this, you review existing and develop new Route-of-Advancement (ROA) courses based on the DIS training roadmap. Your challenge lies in the need to understand the operational needs of different DIS vocations in order to develop the requisite training roadmap and curriculum to support their professional development. You need to be able to work with multiple stakeholders and complete deliverables within a tight timeline.

You lead the implementation of National Service (NS) policies, including NS Training development and execution. Your responsibilities include maintaining oversight of all NS staffing and manning requirements with various stakeholders, collaborating to optimise the employment of NS resources, and designing and implementing NS training plans to ensure high competency levels for Operationally Ready National Servicemen (NSmen) in the formation. You also represent the Formation at key meetings related to NS affairs and oversee the development and performance of the Formation NS training system in accordance with SAF NS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You oversee a National Service (NS) training system. On this, you ensure proper governance and implementation of NSmen training and administration in the Formation. You drive NS Human Resource (HR) administration and succession planning. In addition, you oversee feedback management, communication to NSmen, and organise cohesion activities for NSmen. Your challenge lies in having strong composure and clarity of thought, while handling heavy workload, especially during high-tempo periods.

You must have a tertiary qualification, with at least 8 years' experience in HR or relevant experience. You oversee the conduct and implementation of the courses for Senior Military Experts in the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS). On this, you implement the new courses and supervise the conduct of these courses. You are also responsible for the overall welfare and administration of the trainees. In addition, you also evaluate the trainees according to an established assessment matrix. Lastly, you are also responsible for the reporting of post-course reports and feedbacks. Your challenge lies in having a good understanding of the training requirements and outcomes of the various stakeholders. You need to be proficient in the relevant training policies and directives. You are expected to adapt to ad-hoc changes to schedule and make adjustments to curriculum.

You assess the training requirements of the Digital Defence Command (DDC) and develop appropriate training roadmaps and masterplans for personnel under the Command. On this, you operationalise and monitor the training schedules to ensure that the personnel receive up-to-date and relevant training, in order to effectively execute their tasks. You work closely with external and in-service training entities to continuously develop and fine-tune training courses and modules, among other training related responsibilities. You identify and consolidate training courses, secure training billets and approvals, as well as monitor the submission of post-course/seminars reports to various fora. In addition, you liaise with external vendors and in-service entities on the courses required by the Command. Your challenge lies in exercising initiative and resourcefulness in order to be responsive to the requirements of the curriculum. You should be adept in developing robust training frameworks and be able to recommend relevant training/courses.

You must have a tertiary qualification preferably in fields related to Training, Education, Business Administration and Human Resources, with at least 6 years' relevant work experience in a training, and/or HR field. Certifications in areas of education or training will be advantageous. Possession of good interpersonal and time management skills is essential.

You work closely with training centres within the institute and external agencies to develop, collect, analyse and interpret data for trainees and trainers. You also propose training plans based on the collected information. Your challenge lies in dealing with multiple entities while understanding military training curriculum and Singapore Combat Engineers' training and specialisations.

You are responsible for the implementation of Leadership Development (LD) initiatives in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). On this, you contextualise and develop, as well as review, organisational development, organisational learning and conceptual thinking content, targeted at different levels of SAF leaders. You also collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure efficient and effective translation of content into curriculum, lesson plans and learning activities for implementation and delivery. Additionally, you have opportunities to facilitate or teach the related content in programmes and courses.

You must have postgraduate qualification, with at least 5 years’ relevant experience in leadership and management, organisational development, industrial and organisational psychology, applied psychology, knowledge management, learning science, statistical/market research, instructional design, training, or human capital leadership development.

You are responsible for managing all close combat training matters. On this, you evaluate and advise units on the close combat standards and gradings of soldiers' performance. You generate monthly audit reports. You also serve as a consultant on all matters related to close combat and martial arts, as well as coordinate and supervise trainings. In addition, you manage personnel under your charge. Your challenge lies in developing and maintaining good and wide networking with external organisations and agencies.

You should have a Diploma, preferably with at least 2 years' coaching or supervisory experience in martial arts training. You must have martial arts skills, with a minimum requirement of a Grade P3 in Krav Maga. Alternatively, a Black Belt in other martial arts can be considered. Possession of excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills is essential.

You assist the Course Coordinator in implementing new courses, overseeing these training courses to ensure the conduct is in accordance with DIS’ requirements. You manage the implementation of digital learning transformation for the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) through the incorporation of educational technology. You identify and determine training requirements at different levels, devise plans to transform training processes and learning workflows. Additionally, you work with various stakeholders in the implementation and enhancements of the Next Generation Learning System (NGLS). Your challenges lie in the need to complete the digital transformation of learning for entities under your purview within three years, whilst achieving process change under time constraints, securing buy-in from stakeholders, mitigating differing perspectives between various stakeholders, adhering to MINDEF/SAF's strong emphasis on cybersecurity requirements and lastly, integrating into a high-achieving and dynamic team.

You support the procurement and resourcing for end-to-end management of the Navy's medical capability development (CAPDEV) projects. On this, you secure the requisite resources and plan technical trainings to enable the conduct of operationalisation trials of medical CAPDEV projects, track the operationalisation progress of all medical CAPDEV projects; and manage any technical modifications. Your challenges lie in juggling multiple CAPDEV projects of different complexity at the same time, sense-making the CAPDEV requirement and ensure that it meets both medical and engineering requirement.

You design, develop, review and update the organisational excellence framework deployed in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). On this, you work closely with personnel of all ranks from the SAF training institutes in the areas of data collection, data analysis and preparation of assessment and recommendation reports. You also monitor the progress of the training institutes in implementing the organisational excellence framework and provide assistance where needed. You are expected to research, review and update the framework periodically in order to ensure that the organisational excellence framework is relevant. Your challenge lies in developing valid and reliable measurements for the sub-components of the organisational excellence framework that will reflect the status of Training Institutes accurately.

You are responsible to provide efficient and effective support on administrative matters for all Army personnel attending overseas military courses. In addition, you perform knowledge management functions as well as all routine Human Resource (HR) and Logistics related administrative matters for all personnel in the department.

You should preferably have a Diploma. You should be experienced and familiar with processes related to HR, Logistics, finance and the associated IT systems and guidelines. You are responsible to School Commander to train officers and officer cadets in Air Warfare Officers (Air Traffic Control) [AWO(ATC)] ab-initio phase by planning, preparing and conducting theory and practical lessons. Other that the core training functions, you have to be kept updated in new operating concepts and ongoing operations development. You are responsible in achieving the training outcome, providing trainees with quality competency training and ensuring a smooth transition to operations.
