About the role

You lead workstreams to tailor capability development (CapDev) processes based on project nature for greater agility and user-centricity, while putting in place targeted safeguards to upkeep fundamental governance principles such as cost prudence and system safety.

 

What you will be working on

  • Codify new CapDev processes
  • Develop digitalisation roadmap for MINDEF/SAF's CapDev processes

 

Challenge(s)

  • Understanding a wide range of cross-cutting CapDev-related issues
  • Harmonising considerations of diverse stakeholders across the defence ecosystem

About the role

About the role

You support the Executive Director to lead the ADMM Cybersecurity and Information Centre of Excellence (ACICE) team to enhance cooperation, research and information-sharing among ASEAN defence establishments against threats in cyber and information domains.

 

What you will be working on

  • Enhance cooperation, research, and information-sharing among ASEAN defence establishments
  • Lead long-term research programmes on digital issues
  • Oversee partnership with the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS)

 

Challenge(s)

  • Building networks among regional defence establishments and players in the cyber and information space
  • Tapping on wide network to shape and steer activities enhancing ACICE's standing

 

What we are looking for

  • Education in Social Sciences or Cyber Security related fields (Political Science, Information Technology, Cyber Information Technology, English, etc.)
  • At least 10 years of working experience, preferably in diplomacy, cyber or information
  • Experience in supervisory and leadership positions
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Capacity to build a wide network within MINDEF/SAF and other government agencies
  • Strong command of both spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in a vernacular language is advantageous
