About the role

What you will be working on

What we are looking for

  • Education in Engineering, Technical studies, Forensics or Computer studies
  • At least 6 years of experience in Investigation or Forensics
  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Adaptability to work odd hours on very short notice

About the role

You serve as the primary custodian for Army safety regulations and directives, collaborating with Army Formations to ensure safety adherence and compliance.

 

What you will be working on

  • Manage Army safety regulations and directives
  • Work with SAF Inspector General's Office and Army stakeholders to align authorised operating materials and/or ground practices across the Army and SAF
  • Serve as Secretariat for Army Safety Board (ASB)

 

Challenge(s)

  • Ensuring consistent safety compliance across Army formations
  • Coordinating with multiple stakeholders at different levels

 

What we are looking for

  • At least 6 years of experience in safety related roles
  • Strong knowledge of Army Safety Regulations

About the role

You oversee the Safety Management System and safety culture development at the Command level within the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS).

 

What you will be working on

  • Conduct scheduled inspections and visits to workplaces and deployment grounds
  • Work with line units and Unit Safety Officers (USOs) to promote open reporting and investigate safety incidents
  • Supervise development of safety officers
  • Function as Command's primary interface with the DIS Safety Inspectorate

 

Challenge(s)

  • Maintaining familiarity with safety matters in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), industry, and governmental bodies
  • Navigating the SAF and DIS organisational networks to establish new working relationships and enhance existing processes

 

What we are looking for

  • At least 6 years of working experience, with minimum 3 years in safety or equivalent aspects
  • Qualifications in Workplace Safety or equivalent field is preferred
  • ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor qualification with an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or its equivalent is preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

About the role

You advise the unit Commanding Officer (CO) in planning, organising, directing, and evaluating all safety efforts within the Battalion.

 

What you will be working on

  • Plan, organise, direct, and evaluate safety efforts within the Battalion

About the role

You serve as the principal safety trainer and educator to raise safety awareness and standards in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Medical Corps by developing, implementing, and monitoring the safety training and education programme in the Medical Corps.

 

What you will be working on

  • Develop, implement, and monitor safety training and education programme
  • Conduct safety audits of SAF's medical training and clinical facilities
  • Carry out safety investigations to determine causal factors of accidents and near misses
  • Recommend remedial actions to prevent recurrence of safety incidents
  • Compile and present regular safety updates and reports at relevant meetings

 

Challenge(s)

  • Internalising safety culture in the attitude and behaviour of SAF Medical Corps staff
  • Ensuring safety implementation becomes second nature during both work and play

 

What we are looking for

  • Education in Nursing, Medical or Biomedical Sciences
  • At least 5 years of working experience
  • Registration with relevant local authority (e.g. Singapore Nursing Board) for healthcare workers
  • Keen eye for detail to scrutinise policies, workflows, and processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with different stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask
