About the role

What you will be working on

  • Ensure effective use of our Operations (Ops) Support Information Technology (IT) portfolio investment and resources
  • Develop and oversee robust policies and compliance operations
  • Drive enterprise architecting to ensure coherence and interoperability of capabilities, platforms and systems
  • Orchestrate exploitation of technology to drive transformation in MINDEF/SAF

What we are looking for

  • Education in Business, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, Information Resource Management or any related field
  • At least 15 years of working experience, with a minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a managerial position
  • Good systems engineering knowledge
  • Understanding of engineering interdependencies and complexities
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with Portfolio management, Enterprise strategic planning, Performance management, Budget planning and management, Enterprise architecture and governance; and Policy formulation and compliance
  • Familiarity with new digital technologies such as Cloud Computing and Data Analytics

About the role

You lead the transformation of MINDEF into a digital-first, data-ready organisation by developing the MINDEF Data Strategy to drive the exploitation of data for policy reviews, operational decision making, and to derive workforce efficiencies.
