You manage and implement health informatic solutions as part of the team to regionalise healthcare within the SAF and strengthen its integration with the national healthcare ecosystem. On this, you develop methods and utilise technology to acquire, process and analyse patient data which can be derived from different sources (e.g. electronic health records, diagnostic investigations and analytical dashboards). Your work will aid the organisation in anticipating future clinical policy needs, enhancing current day clinical care delivery and identifying clinical issues early with recommendations for front business process re-engineering and technology enablers. You may also be required to travel overseas to conduct industry visits. Your challenge lies in keeping abreast of the changing national and SAF healthcare ecosystem, latest digital developments, and conceptualising its applicability to the SAF to champion IT solutions for our regional health hubs.

You must have a tertiary qualification in Health Informatics or a related discipline. At least 2 years' work experience in health informatics or project development is preferred. You must have a keen interest in healthcare digitalisation, process good interpersonal and communication skills, capable of designing change management and innovating the healthcare scene within the SAF.

You assist in providing dedicated focus for the development and delivery of IT Network and other related projects to enhance connectivity, UX, UI and productivity. You strengthen the network architecture to enhance availability, scalability, cross- compatibility, maintenance and security for Operations Support Information Technology (OSIT) devices. You also develop network analytic tools to support decision-making for optimising the management of OSIT networks. In addition, you manage and work with DSTA Project Management Team and external vendor project teams to ensure delivery and roll-out of projects within the approved budget and schedule. Your challenges lie in being familiar with Defence Capability Management processes especially for IT projects and having the relevant qualification and knowledge in IT as well as having to work with different IT Subject Matter Experts across intra and inter-ministry.

You must have a tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related discipline, or a professional certification in the same area, with at least 6 to 8 years' prior IT project-management experience. Possession of good communication skills, the ability to work independently and communicate across multiple agencies within MINDEF/SAF as well as across Whole-of-Government Ministries and Statutory Boards and the ability to work in a fast- paced environment is essential.

You oversee a team in charting out and advancing the coherent development of the information technology (IT) Infrastructure and Applications landscape in MINDEF/SAF to meet operational requirements. On this, you perform market scanning to identify technologies and systems that will benefit MINDEF/SAF. You further collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to spearhead technology pioneering and sourcing with a view towards transforming MINDEF/SAF IT Infrastructure and Applications landscape. You develop systems masterplans for MINDEF/SAF IT systems and services. You are responsible for developing the statement of work for new initiatives, their approval of requirements, and table them through various forums for approval. You provide advice and advocate for policies and architectural guidelines for systematic IT system development to ensure system interoperability across different networks, as well as with Integrated Knowledge-based Command and Control systems.

Your challenge lies in keeping abreast of the latest military domain revolution in threats, operational concepts, doctrines, and the latest development in commercial IT and software technologies. You need to have a good understanding in both military and commercial domains, to ensure the timely plug-in of technology upgrades to MINDEF/SAF IT Infrastructure and Applications. You also need to constantly evolve the MINDEF/SAF Enterprise Architecture framework to facilitate systems interoperability, manage system complexity, and to better manage resources in capabilities development.

You must have a tertiary qualification in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), or related professional qualifications, with at least 12 years' working experience in the IT industry in a technical or engineering setting. Possession of a strong technical background in IT, leadership traits, good planning abilities, good communication skills, the ability to multi-task and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.

You lead in the architecting and shaping of future Operations Support Information Technology (OSIT) Infra landscape and translate business requirements into technical enablers and developing the masterplans, Multi-Year Business Plans, fund requirements and implementation strategies, while reviewing existing portfolios for resource optimisation. On this, you assist in developing the MINDEF/SAF Knowledge Management (KM) and other IT-Infra architecture and masterplans to meet strategic intent and operational requirements. Specifically, you synthesise the needs of various departments and develop a holistic enterprise level proposal with technology enablers and broad implementation strategies that will see the investments being ploughed back to the organisation. You also implement the IT-Infra and Apps projects to meet the current and future requirements in KM and other IT infra requirements.

Your challenge lies in being forward-looking to anticipate rapidly evolving operational requirements, technical advancements and security landscape in order to develop a robust OSIT portfolio that will meet strategic and operational requirements with a scarce engineering resource landscape. You need to be able to effectively translate operational requirements and technical assessments both ways across MINDEF/SAF and technical agencies across multiple levels, including presenting technical information in layman terms to get executive support. You also need to have a good grasp of the engineering capability in MINDEF/SAF's defence and technology ecosystem to be able to configure the right team for implementing novel projects.

You must have a tertiary qualification in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) or related professional qualifications/certifications, with at least 10 years' working experience with 5 years' middle management in the IT industry as a Deputy Director (or equivalent) role in a technical or engineering setting. You should have strong technical background in IT infra and service. You should also possess strong leadership and communication skills, organisation acumen, ability to engage leadership, engineers and ground users, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

You must have a tertiary qualification in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) or related professional qualifications/ certifications, with at least 3 years' experience in a project management role, delivering technology products/services. You should possess knowledge and skills in full stack development. You should possess strong leadership and communication skills, organisational acumen, and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. You belong to the policy and compliance team that governs cybersecurity and IT standards in MINDEF. On this, you contribute to the production and improvement of IT policies that enable compliance with the Whole-of-Government Infocomm Technology and Smart Systems (ICT&SS) Management and other internal controls. You operate policy lifecycle management and control monitoring frameworks, and you are involved in the design and roll out of enterprise processes and automation for Governance, Risk and Compliance. You will gain exposure to IT governance, risk management and compliance, cybersecurity, and IT system operations. You must have a tertiary qualification, with a passion for IT risk management and compliance. Having relevant work experience and professional certifications will be advantageous. You manage the daily operations and readiness of the network operations centre. On this, you manage several teams in the operations centre, such as recovery teams that respond to network faults. In addition, you work with relevant stakeholders to enhance processes and implement new tools to strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of the network operations centre. You also provide assistance on the unit’s financial responsibilities and perform relevant financial duties. Your challenge lies in coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders to manage the jobs and faults of the IT networks. You also need to continually refine the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the operations centre to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of detection and recovery of network faults. Lastly, you need to possess knowledge of industry enterprise data network operations and best practices, coupled with strong and professional leadership.

You must have a tertiary qualification in Information Technology (IT) or related discipline, preferably with at least 5 years' working experience in IT. Possession of professional IT certification such as CCNP, CCNA and ITIL Certification will be advantageous. Being able to learn quickly and perform under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is required. Possession of critical thinking, good interpersonal and communication skills is essential.
