About the role

You are responsible for assisting in improving service standards in MINDEF/SAF through people development and partnerships with other agencies.

 

What you will be working on

  • Benchmark MINDEF's service performance against public service and industry standards
  • Develop service delivery professionals by creating competency frameworks and career pathways for Quality Service (QS) Practitioners
  • Build service culture through communications and engagement
  • Manage QS awards frameworks and drive the Secretariat function for the Quality Service Management Committee (QSMC)
  • Establish partnerships with public and private organisations
  • Manage requests from other ministries on service delivery matters

About the role

You lead a team to implement major infrastructure projects for MINDEF premises in the masterplan formulated by the Workplace Plans & Systems Department (WPSD).

 

What you will be working on

  • Oversee the implementation efforts of planned development and ensure smooth and timely implementation to achieve project objectives
  • Lead the team to gather and scope user/operations requirements, develop evaluation criteria, select and contract vendors/services
  • Liaise and coordinate with tenant units/depts, DSTA, and regulatory bodies to obtain planning permissions
  • Supervise and manage vendors for requirement scope, schedule, budget, and compliance

What we are looking for

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in project management and large-scale workplace/infrastructure construction and built projects

About the role

You develop and enhance operational capability in the domain of service delivery for MINDEF/SAF. Your role involves key responsibilities in operational planning, system management, parliamentary duties, and event organisation.

 

What you will be working on

  • Develop the structure, concept of operations (CONOPS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure undisrupted MINDEF/SAF service operations
  • Draw up plans for refresh, and ensure the availability and relevance of the MINDEF/SAF Intranet systems and processes
  • Coordinate parliamentary duties and responses for Parliamentary Questions (PQ), Committee of Supply (COS) Debate and other Parliamentary sessions and processes for MINDEF/SAF
  • Plan and organise National Day Observance Ceremonies at MINDEF Building
