IMDEX Asia 2025

Singapore will see a gathering of navies from 6 to 8 May 2025. A multitude of activities has been planned over the four days. In addition to an international maritime defence exhibition, delegations comprising numerous naval chiefs and coast guard director-generals will engage in open dialogue enhance and foster mutual security in our maritime commons.

There will also be many opportunities for participants from navies, coast guards and maritime enforcement agencies for interactions to make new friends, deepen understanding and build interoperability during exercises and social activities.

The International Maritime Defence Exhibition (IMDEX) Asia 2025 will be held at the Changi Exhibition Centre. Visitors can expect to see a display of the latest vessels, systems and technologies from maritime defence companies from across the world. Since its inaugural edition in 1997, the biennial exhibition has been the Asia Pacific's leading naval and maritime defence exhibition.

International Maritime Security Conference

The Republic of Singapore Navy and the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies are co-organising the 9th International Maritime Security Conference (IMSC) on 7 May 2025. Themed "Safe and Secure Seas", the upcoming conference will see more than 400 international participants from navies, coast guards, maritime industries, academia, and think-tanks. Established in 2009, many thought leaders, such as naval chiefs and leading academics have shared their viewpoints on issues like the impact of geo-political developments on maritime security, and how maritime agencies can work together to enhance stability and security in the maritime domain.

Maritime Information Sharing Exercise

Maritime Information Sharing Exercise



The Republic of Singapore Navy will be organising the 9th Maritime Information Sharing Exercise (MARISX). It will be held from 6 to 8 May 2025 at the Changi Command and Control Centre at RSS Singapura - Changi Naval Base. MARISX is a scenario-based exercise for international partners from the maritime security and shipping communities to strengthen operational processes and exchange best practices across Information Fusion Centre's eight maritime security categories.

Cocktail Reception

Cocktail reception



The RSS Singapura – Changi Naval Base will be hosting warships from the region and beyond. In true naval tradition, a cocktail reception is planned on 8 May 2025. The RSN will be hosting a cocktail at Fleet Command Building, while warships berthed in the base will also be opening up their decks to invited guests where new friendships are made and old friendships are strengthened.
