Yesterday, our Chief of Navy Rear Admiral (RADM) Sean Wat hosted the United States Navy Commander Pacific Fleet, Admiral (ADM) Stephen Koehler at RSS Singapura – Changi Naval Base.

ADM Koehler was given a brief about Changi Naval Base.

During his visit, ADM Koehler (middle) visited our Formidable-class Frigate, RSS Supreme, where he was briefed about the ship's capabilities and operations.

ADM Koehler (4th from left) also visited the Information Fusion Centre (IFC) where he was briefed about IFC's role in ensuring maritime security for the region by building cooperation between our regional and extra-regional maritime partners through real-life information sharing.

The visit also provided an opportunity for both navies to deepen understanding, and explore areas of cooperation in maritime security. We look forward to more of such fruitful discussions in future.
