Singapore hosted the 21st Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD) from 31 May to 2 June 2024. Organised by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), the annual event provided unique opportunities for delegations from over 40 countries to engage in discussions on global and regional security issues, as well as to strengthen mutual understanding and collaboration.
At the sidelines of the event, our Chief of Navy RADM Sean Wat met with various senior defence officials, and discussed ways to enhance information sharing and practical cooperation. These interactions also reaffirms the warm and friendly bilateral defence ties between our Navy and the various agencies.
