RSS Stalwart conducted a passage exercise (PASSEX) with the 防衛省 海上自衛隊 (Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force) ships JS Kashima and JS Shimayuki within international waters in the southern reaches of the South China Sea earlier this week.

The PASSEX was conducted smoothly and comprised communication serials and a manoeuvring exercise. The exercise concluded with a farewell sailpast and well wishes to each other.

As we say in the navy, Fair Winds and Following Seas!

"Close up Flag GOLF!"

Our Communication Systems Operators preparing to haul up the GOLF flag to signal that RSS Stalwart has assumed as the Guide in the formation - whereby the other ships will take up position from her.
