Chief of Navy's Introductory Visit to Indonesia

Our Chief of Navy Rear Admiral (RADM) Sean Wat made his introductory visit to Indonesia last week. 

During his visit, RADM Wat met with his counterpart, the Chief of Indonesian Navy Admiral (ADM) Muhammad Ali. Both leaders reaffirmed the close and long-standing defence relations between Singapore and Indonesia.

RADM Wat and his delegation also met with Chief of Indonesian Maritime Security Agency (KABAKAMLA) during the visit. They were briefed at the Indonesian Maritime Information Center (IMIC), which was launched in three years ago in July 2020 as part of the efforts to enhance maritime security through information sharing. 

RADM Wat also visited the Commander Second Fleet of the Indonesian Navy (PANG KOARMADA II) at their headquarters in Surabaya.

RADM Wat also laid a wreath at the monument during his visit. 


The RSN interacts with the TNI AL and BAKAMLA regularly through professional exchanges and exercises out at sea. These regular interactions have strengthened cooperation and enhanced the close ties between our countries.
