Strengthening Cooperation and Ties with the Royal Canadian Navy

Commander of the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN), Vice Admiral (VADM) Angus Topshee, visited RSS Singapura - Changi Naval Base (CNB) on 16 Apr 2024.

At CNB, VADM Topshee (left) called on our Chief of Navy RADM Sean Wat (right), where both leaders reaffirmed the warm ties between our navies and discussed potential areas of cooperation.

VADM Topshee (3rd from the left) also visited our Information Fusion Centre (IFC) where Lieutenant Colonel Gregory Nette (far right), Canadian Deputy Defence Attaché and International Liaison Officer (ILO) in IFC, shared about how the IFC and its 25 ILOs work together to facilitate information sharing to ensure maritime security in the region and beyond.

VADM Topshee (3rd from left) also had the opportunity to visit the refreshed Navy Museum.
