Bravo Zulu 1SG Lim!

1SG Roy Lim did the RSN proud by clinching the Honour Graduate in the eight-month United States Navy International Explosive Ordnance Disposal Course, which concluded last Friday. During the course, 1SG Lim embodied the warrior ethos completely. "As one of the most junior participants, I worked doubly hard to do the navy and my team mates proud!"

As a member of the Naval Diving Unit's Clearance Diving Group, he is part of an elite team of highly specialised divers equipped with deep expertise in explosive ordinance disposal and deep-diving, and the skills he honed during the course had helped to sharpen his expertise further. "I am thankful for the opportunity to benchmark my competencies with my foreign counterparts, and to mature as a leader. As a young leader, I look forward to grooming the next generation of divers in this highly specialised domain. Hooyah!"
