Leaving a Legacy in NALCOM

03 Mar 20

"We don't own this navy - we are merely stewards."

ME5 Michael Chan did just that over the last 5 years. Guided by his strong belief in the SAF Code of Conduct and Core Values, this outgoing Master Chief of Naval Logistics Command (NALCOM) instilled discipline and took care of welfare for the military experts in the formation.

"He believed in doing the right thing. ME5 Chan led the establishment and formalisation of the Centre Chiefs in NALCOM Centres. He has left a legacy in NALCOM." - Commander NALCOM ME7 Khoo Koh Giok.

On 28 Feb, ME5 Chan handed over the Master Chief NALCOM appointment to ME5 Kho Yong Wah. We thank him for his contributions to NALCOM and the RSN, and wish him the very best!
