Maritime Information Sharing MOU Signed between RSN and ROKN

Chief of Navy Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) RADM Aaron Beng and his counterpart, the Chief of Naval Operations Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) ADM Boo, Suk-Jong signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance information-sharing between the two navies on 18 May 2021.

The MOU formalises both navies' ongoing cooperation in maritime information-sharing that has brought about increased shared situational awareness and improved support operations. This reflects the deepening of practical cooperation between both navies, which is vital amid an increasingly complex and crowded seascape.

As part of strengthening practical cooperation between the navies, the ROKN has attached an International Liaison Officer to the RSN's Information Fusion Centre.
