Strengthening Maritime Bonds at the Senior Warrant Officer Exchange Programme

15 Oct 23

The senior Warrant Officer and Exchange Programme (SWEP) was recently held in Brunei from 9 to 13 Oct 2023 to promote collaboration and strengthen ties between the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN).

Led by our Master Chief Navy (MCN) ME6 Richard Goh, the RSN delegation were warmly welcomed by their RBN counterparts, led by Acting Navy Sergeant Major WO 1 Irwan Bin Bungus, as they visited various RBN shore and training facilities.

During his visit, MCN (third from left) called on Commander Naval Training Commandant Willie bin Padan (fourth from left), where both leaders discussed about personnel and training issues.

While at Muara Naval Base, MCN and his delegation visited the two ex-Fearless-class Patrol Vessels which were transferred to RBN this year.
