The Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN)'s Victory-class missile corvette RSS Vigour conducted a passage exercise (PASSEX) with the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN)'s Darussalam-class Offshore Patrol Vessel KDB Daruttaqwa on 3 Dec 2021.
During the PASSEX, the two ships conducted a series of communication and manoeuvring exercise serials in the Malacca Strait.
The RSN conducts regular PASSEXes to enhance mutual understanding and strengthen friendships with foreign navies such as the RBN. These professional interactions at sea have enabled the RSN to keep our ties warm with our counterparts, even amidst the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
