Our Master Chief Navy ME6 Richard Goh welcomed Royal Brunei Navy's Sergeant Major WO1 Roslan Bin Duraman for the senior Warrant Officers' Programme recently. Established in 2007 to strengthen ties between the Republic of Singapore Navy's (RSN's) military experts and warrant officers, and the Royal Brunei Navy's (RBN's) warrant officers, the latest iteration of the programme was conducted in Singapore from 15 to 19 November 2022.
Over the five days, the RBN warrant officers were brought to various parts of the RSN, where RSN personnel shared on changes in the RSN, including logistics and training.
The RBN delegates also visited the Naval Diving Unit and was hosted by its master chief, SWO Seck Wai Kong.
RSN and RBN enjoy a close and long-standing relationship through friendships forged at different levels of leadership over the years. They include frequent interactions through professional interactions and visits, such as regular exercises and dialogues.
