Did you know that one of the most important maritime trade route - the Straits of Malacca and Singapore - in the world is right at our doorstep? Thus, we all have a responsibility to keep it safe and secure!
This week, our Information Fusion Centre (IFC) located in Changi Naval Base hosted and led a command post exercise to enhance maritime security in the straits. This exercise was conducted on IFC's Real-time Info-sharing System (IRIS) with navies from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.

During the scenario-driven exercise, participants were required to respond to realistic injects that were based on past incidents.
They were able to strengthen information-sharing processes and collaborate operational responses with their respective monitoring and action agencies in their home country.
