Strategic Communications
DXOs in the Strategic Communications (SC) job family strategise, plan, execute and evaluate communication objectives for MINDEF and the SAF. They cover public communications, internal communications and community engagement, with expertise in communication strategies, crisis communications, media relations, content creation, message framing, media monitoring, research and analysis, and information technology. These multifaceted efforts aim to bolster public trust and elevate the reputation of MINDEF and the SAF both locally and internationally.
I thoroughly enjoy the intellectual challenge of looking at issues from multiple perspectives, and thinking through angles that could impact Singaporeans' commitment to our defence, or the international community's perception of our country.
