  1. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Enlistment Act 1970, the proper authority requires every male citizen of Singapore and every male permanent resident of Singapore, born between 01 April 2007 and 30 Jun 2007 (both dates inclusive) (called in this notice a registrant) to register for national service.

  2. A registrant must register for national service between 08 May 2024 and 28 May 2024 (both dates inclusive)-
    1. online at https://www.ns.gov.sg; or
    2. in person at the Central Manpower Base (CMPB) Podium situated at 3 Depot Road, Singapore 109680.

     

  3. (1) Each registrant must -
    1. while registering for national service, appoint a date between 10 July 2024 and 07 Aug 2024 (both dates inclusive) for his medical examination; and
    2. go for his medical examination at CMPB on the appointed date between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.

     

    (2) However, sub-paragraph (1) does not apply if the registrant makes an application under paragraph 4(1), and is successful in that application.

  4. (1) Any registrant may, after he commences registration for national service but before he commences national service, apply for the postponement of his liability to report for enlistment in order to complete his studies in Singapore.

    5.  

    (2) An application under sub-paragraph (1) must be made -

    1. online at https://www.ns.gov.sg; or
    2. in person at the CMPB Podium.

     

    (3) If a registrant's application under sub-paragraph (1) is successful, the registrant will receive further notice from the proper authority as to when the registrant is to report for enlistment and go for his medical examination.
