If the registration is done at CMPB, the following documents must be produced:
(a) National Registration Identity Card or Birth Certificate
(b) Education Certificates
(c) Citizenship Certificates (if any) and
(d) Other documents as specified in the Registration Notice
Any registrant may apply, whether online or personally, for the postponement of his liability to report for enlistment in order to complete his studies in Singapore. If the application for postponement is successful, the registrant will receive a further notice from the proper authority as to when he is to report for enlistment.
Any registrant who does not meet the postponement criteria, or is not successful in his application for postponement, must: (a) during registration, appoint a date between 01 October 2024 and 04 November 2024 (both dates inclusive) for his medical screening; and (b) go for his medical screening at CMPB on the appointed date between 8am and 1pm.

You can apply to study for a diploma or attain partial university credits while serving NS under MINDEF/SAF’s Work-Learn Schemes. Under these schemes, you will:
The 4 years of service includes both full-time NS and regular service. This means that you will receive a regular
service salary after completing the full-time NS component of your contract.

Full-time National Servicemen (NSFs) who have successfully gained
admission into the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National
University of Singapore (NUS), or the Lee Kong Chian School of
Medicine at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) can be
considered for disruption from full-time NS, to complete their
medical studies, housemanship and hospital postings.
NSFs disrupted under the LMDS return to complete the remainder of
their full-time NS as Medical Officers (MOs) after successfully
completing the Medical Officer Cadet Course (MOCC).
The following NSFs have been granted disruption from full-time NS
under the LMDS:
NSFs awarded PSC Overseas Merit Scholarship (OMS) are granted
disruption in the first year of full-time NS to pursue their
university studies.
The following NSFs have been granted disruption from full-time NS
on PSC-OMS:

National Service Registration for male Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents born between 01 October 2007 and 01 January 2008 (both dates inclusive) will be conducted between 31 July 2024 and 20 August 2024 (both dates inclusive)
The NS Review Committee was set up in 2020 to review aspects of NS to fulfil the operational demands of the Next-Generation Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), and meet the needs of a new generation of national servicemen. The review concluded in 2022, with several key initiatives implemented.
