Fact Sheet: ACCORD and its Members for Term 2018 - 2020

The Advisory Council on Community Relations in Defence (ACCORD) was established by MINDEF in January 1984 as a channel for the community to provide feedback on MINDEF/SAF's policies and programmes and other issues related to Singapore's defence. After the restructuring in 2014, ACCORD has deepened engagements with employers, businesses, families, the community and educational institutions through its Councils. See Figure 1 for the structure of ACCORD and its Co-Chairpersons for the term 2018 - 2020.
