Fact Sheet: GameOn Nila! Total Defence Trail

The GameOn Nila! Total Defence (TD) Trail is a collaboration between Sport Singapore and Nexus, MINDEF. Conceptualised as part of Total Defence Day 2022 Commemorative Event activities, the first TD walking trail features six locations representing the six pillars of Total Defence. The exploration of the trail on foot encourages Singaporeans to keep active while learning more about Singapore’s history, the actions that individual and communities can take to keep the country safe, strong and independent and deepen their appreciation of Total Defence.

More about GameOn Nila!

Since its introduction in August 2018, GameOn Nila! has enlisted over 1 million participants and introduced over 30 different trails. More information can be found at http://go.gov.sg/GONTDTrail.

Participants can participate in the trails on their own or in teams of up to five (subject to prevailing Safe Management Measures), creating the perfect opportunity for family members and friends to work out, explore and learn more about Singapore together.

The GameOn Nila! Total Defence Trail was set up and tested by the first batch of GameOn Nila! Ambassadors from Team Nila, Sport Singapore’s sport volunteer group, over the weekend. This group of volunteers will continue to test and trial future trails, ensuring that the trails bring Singaporeans to discover new and interesting places, and help to maintain the trails by ensuring that the trails’ QR codes are in good working condition
