The CSIT Cyber Traineeship Programme (CCTP) is a paid, full-time, seven (7)-month intensive training course that aims to provide fresh graduates and mid-career professionals with no prior experience or formal training in cybersecurity an opportunity to embark on a career in the cybersecurity field. CCTP aims to train close to 100 fresh graduates and mid-career professionals to become cybersecurity professionals.

Shortlisted applicants will be assessed based on a series of aptitude tests, interviews and security vetting. Applicants will be assessed on qualities such as logical and analytical aptitude, and soft skills such as independent learning ability. The application process may take up to three (3) months. Successful applicants will be notified of their successful placement at least one month before the start of training to provide sufficient time for him/her to serve notice to current employers.

CCTP consists of two stages. In Stage 1 of the programme, selected candidates will be trained by an industry training provider and sit for an Interim Assessment at the end of Stage 1. Only successful candidates will proceed to Stage 2, where they will undergo a three (3)-month training and a final assessment. Upon successful completion of the programme, trainees will be placed in a permanent role in CSIT with a minimum service period of two (2) years.
