The Technology Strategy & Policy Office (TSPO), set up in 2015, works closely with the Defence Technology Community (DTC) and SAF to develop technology strategies, policies and long-term plans to provide the technological edge for the SAF.

The main roles of TSPO are to:

• Formulate capability development strategies.
• Develop defence technology policies and plans.
