Exemption

You can be exempted from your annual fitness requirements once you have been disrupted from your Operationally Ready National Service (ORNS) duties.

However, you can also be exempted from IPPT in your current IPPT window, only if you have: 

• Been permanently downgraded to PES B3 and below (excluding PES C1)
• Continuous medical exemption from IPPT for a period of 6 months (180 days) or more within your annual IPPT window
• Cumulated medical exemption from IPPT for a period of 9 months (270 days) or more within your annual IPPT window
