The theme for 2025’s Total Defence campaign – "Together We Keep Singapore Strong" – will focus on Singaporean’s readiness for crises and disruptions, and the many ways we can put Total Defence into action in our everyday lives.

Exercise SG Ready 2025

Following the inaugural run of Exercise SG Ready in 2024, the Total Defence exercise will return in 2025 with the theme "Are you ready for disruptions?". The exercise will be held at various locations across the island between 15 and 28 Feb 2025 to increase Singaporeans' readiness for crises and disruptions.

Co-led by MINDEF and the Energy Market Authority (EMA), the exercise focuses on strengthening Singaporeans' preparedness for power disruptions. Based on a scenario of prolonged power outages due to ransomware spread through a phishing attack by an unknown group, the exercise aims to encourage individuals, communities and businesses to plan for potential disruptions, prepare to respond effectively, and play our part to keep Singapore strong.

As a signature event of SG60, Exercise SG Ready 2025 invites Singaporeans to reflect on the crises and disruptions that we have gone through in the last 60 years, and what we are likely to face going forward. It is an opportunity for Singaporeans to show care for others in times of such crises and disruptions.
