Earlier this week, our Chief of Staff - Naval Staff (COS-NS) Rear Admiral (RADM) Saw Shi Tat hosted his counterpart, Vice Chief of Indonesian Navy (WAKASAL) Vice Admiral (VADM) Erwin Aldedharma. VADM Erwin was in Singapore for the Enhanced Senior Officers Interactions, conducted regularly between the RSN and the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL).

During his visit, VADM Erwin also called on our Chief of Navy RADM Sean Wat where they agreed that such interactions are useful in building people-to-people relationships and deepening cooperation between our navies.
Both our navies interact regularly through the Coordinated Patrol Indonesia-Singapore (CORPAT INDOSIN), and exercises such as Exercise Eagle Indopura and Exercise Joint Minex Pandu.
