Fact Sheet: SAF Day 2024 Combined Rededication Ceremonies

Background

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Day Combined Rededication Ceremonies (CRCs) have been held annually since 1 July 1987. This year’s CRCs, organised by civilian partner organisations on a voluntary basis, are held across four locations in Singapore, namely Suntec City Convention Centre, NCS Hub, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Temasek Polytechnic. These organisers in turn invite their business partners as well as companies located in their zones to participate in the CRCs. The participants at these CRCs are Operationally Ready National Servicemen (NSmen), their employers and civilian colleagues.

At these ceremonies, NSmen reaffirm their pledge of loyalty and dedication to Singapore and the SAF. To mark the significance of the occasion, a Minister will be invited to officiate at each of the four ceremonies.
