The role of a Naval Systems Engineer is to assess the robustness of naval maintenance programmes and regimes, ensuring that it is carried out effectively without compromising system performance and availability. They are also required to study enhancements to service life of Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) ships, perform reliability and condition-based maintenance as well as to use tools such as On Condition Marketing (OCM).
