The role of a Naval Trainer (Merchant Ship Engineering) is to improve the training curriculum pertaining to the technical competencies required for the maritime domain, to perform independent audit functions after accumulating relevant experience in the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) as well as to share best practices from the merchant shipping industry.
