MILITARY DOMAIN EXPERTS SCHEME SPONSORSHIP (MME)

A career as a Military Medical Expert (MME) in the SAF opens doors to new opportunities. Military Medical Experts are sought after and respected for their medical expertise, both in para-medicine and nursing. They play a pivotal role in planning for and participating in military exercises and operations. In the event of a disaster, they may represent Singapore and be deployed to provide humanitarian aid to people in need.

Singaporean citizen
Secure a place at NUS/NTU/SUTD/ approved SIT Degree Programme in Healthcare related courses
Completed MDEC Phase 1 / Completed OCS (NSF Officers)
Good Co-Curricular Activity Record

Length of Bond

4 Years
The serving of the bond will begin from the day you return to SAF upon successful completion of studies.

MDES Study Award (Diploma)

A Monthly Allowance of $1,300
Tuition Fee and Compulsory Charges
Study Bonus of $1,200 per semester (Pass all modules)

Singaporean citizen
Secure a place at a Local SAF-Recognised Polytechnic
Be physically fit

Length of Bond

4 Years
