The Pilot Wing is worn by personnel who have successfully completed flying training at the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Flying School.
It takes about 35 months for a trainee to obtain his/her Wing. The wings extend elegantly outward to signify the unique nature of the work and the operational readiness and capability of the RSAF pilots.
The Coat-of-Arms signifies the RSAF. The word "RSAF" is at the center and is surrounded by the laurels, which signify honour, pride and glory.
