Singapore Armed Forces Medical Corps Wins Two Awards at National Health IT Excellence Awards 2017

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF)'s Medical Corps won two awards at this year's National Health IT Excellence Awards. Organised by Integrated Health Information Systems (IHiS), the awards are an annual accolade to recognise initiatives and individuals that have achieved healthcare excellence through IT. This year, the SAF's Electronic Medical Records System, PAtient Care Enhancement System (PACES) 3, won an award in Category F (IT Excellence: Digitised Care to Support One Healthcare System), and Assistant Chief of Medical Corps and Chief Air Force Medical Officer COL (Dr) Gan Wee Hoe won an individual award in Category E (Champion for Health IT Excellence). Chief of Medical Corps Rear-Admiral (RADM) (Dr) Tang Kong Choong and COL (Dr) Gan received the awards from Minister for Health Gan Kim Yong on 30 May.
